Randeep S. Hira
About
Randeep Hira is an experienced immigration attorney who has been practicing law since 2006. Mr. Hira is a native Houstonian who comes from a family of immigrants. Thanks to his family's immigrant background, Mr. Hira has a unique understanding of the hopes and dreams of aspiring immigrants, but also the difficult challenges that his clients face in America's complex immigration system.
Mr. Hira founded his firm, Hira Law PLLC, in 2011 with the goal of providing honest, competent, and affordable legal representation to all immigrants. We at Hira Law PLLC pride ourselves in providing immigration solutions for all of our client's immigration needs.
Mr. Hira was awarded his Juris Doctorate from St. John's University School of Law in New York, and is licensed to practice law in both Texas and New York. Mr. Hira first began assisting immigrants when he worked for Catholic Charities as part of the St. John's Immigrant Rights Clinic while still attending law school. It was during his time in the Immigrant Rights Clinic that he became deeply interested and involved in helping immigrants achieve the American Dream.
Mr. Hira also a graduated of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, with a Minor in German. Mr. Hira worked for two law firms during his time in Austin, and was involved with University of Texas Debate Program. The highlight of his tenure at The University of Texas was when he had the privilege of being selected to participate in the Normandy Scholars Program during his senior year.
Mr. Hira also devotes his time as a pro bono immigration attorney with YMCA International Services in Houston, representing immigrant victims of crime and indigent clients seeking asylum and withholding of removal.
Mr. Hira and his family are respected and active members of the Houston Sikh Community. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, reading, live music, and playing with his rambunctious German Shepherd, Imogen.
