About the Court
Houston Immigration Court is the main immigration court located in downtown Houston, which handles non-detained immigration court cases. It is under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Chief Immigration Judge, which is a part of the Executive Office for Immigration Review under the Department of Justice. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) are both separate organizations. The Houston Immigration Court is located on the southeast end of the Federal Building.

To call after hours, you can reach the automated system at (800) 898-7180.
The court accepts documents for filing from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and on Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. However, the window is closed from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. for filings.

The immigration courtrooms are located on the 9th floor of the Houston Immigration Court at 600 Jefferson Street, Suite 900. You can find the court calendar for each judge posted in the reception area. These calendars provide the names and file numbers of each case that is scheduled for a hearing that day and it includes the name of the judge presiding over your case.
